MICHAEL CARDILLO
Pastor of Fusion Ministries
Michael was born in Paterson, New Jersey and was raised in Lincoln Park, New Jersey . He graduated from Boonton High School and was active in music during his school years. Mike was raise by a loving father, with whom he and his older brother Robert lived.
Michael received his undergraduate degree in Music Education from William Paterson University in Fall of 2003. During his undergraduate years, Michael came to know Jesus and began the journey of faith in Christ. He was also involved with InterVarsity. He continued his education at Rutgers University , receiving his Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting in Spring of 2005. Michael has taught music in the Roxbury, Piscataway and East Brunswick school districts. He has also played saxophone with the Metropolitan Saxophone Quartet for 2 years and has freelanced in North and Central Jersey for many years.
Over the past few years Michael has served as Worship Minister at First Reformed Church in Lincoln Park; lead teacher of “the edge” emerging ministry; and leader of many small groups within the postmodern community in the North Jersey area. At Bethlehem , Michael is responsible for leading and directing the emerging church ministry called “fusion”, which will begin to develop relationships with the postmodern culture. He is also helping in the development of the Cornerstone Campus worship ministries. Michael is attending Alliance Theological Seminary, where he is taking a deeper walk into the bible as he works on his Master of Divinity.
