Bethlehem Church

The Adult Education Ministry of Bethlehem Church exists to glorify God by contributing to the fulfillment of the church's mission.  In doing so, this ministry’'s purpose is to develop and oversee an adult educational program designed to:
  • Educate and equip adult learners with the knowledge, insight and skills needed to serve and please Christ in their personal lives, families, church community and world;
  • Stimulate and foster the development of a body united in heart, mind and purpose;
  • Develop new teachers, courses, resources and methods that will enable this ministry to be both self sustaining and adaptable to continually changing needs.

We make this commitment because every adult Christian needs to constantly build on a foundation of Biblical knowledge that helps form Biblical values that lead to Biblical living.  We seek to accomplish this process in a learner-centered setting that includes sharing, prayer, fellowship and encouragement and instruction, which helps equip the learner to faithfully and effectively serve Jesus Christ in the 21st century.

Curriculum:  Fall through Spring courses are offered during both the 9:30 and 11:00 services.  During our summer schedule courses are offered at 9:00 only.  Our curriculum includes special courses for newcomers, college age, and women, young and mature believers.  It has been designed to accentuate the four areas stated in the church's mission statement: Personal growth, family life, church community and world.  In addition a strong emphasis is placed on studying God's Word, from survey courses to in-depth book studies.
