Welcome to Children's Ministries!
At Bethlehem Church we really love kids. Every one of them is God's special creation and we are committed to helping parents grow spiritually strong children and families. As a matter of fact, all the ministries at Bethlehem Church have the same mission – to encourage individuals to reflect Christ in their personal lives, their families, the church community and the world.
We have five goals for every child who takes part in our children's ministries:
- Understand the Bible as Truth - it reveals God's plan for the world and our lives.
- Develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Apply what he or she has learned and produce spiritual fruit.
- Develop an understanding of God's special purpose for him or her.
- Serve the Lord with gladness.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14 NIV
We encourage every child to explore and personally experience the riches of God's love and the wonder of His plan for his or her life. We want all our kids to joyfully live out God's purpose for them.
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 NIV
Bethlehem Church is a place where kids of all ages and abilities are ministered to in a safe, organized and non-competitive environment. We want every child to fit in, have fun and be safe. Every child is precious in the eyes of our Heavenly Father and we want them to know it!
We are blessed to have a team of devoted teachers who serve because they love children and are gifted in teaching the Bible with accuracy and integrity. Our teachers live out their faith and challenge kids to make right choices every day.
Our children's ministries wing is becoming a place just for kids. We are in the process of transforming it into a world where kids discover their creator in a unique and hands-on way. Stop by and see our progress!
Souper Bowl of Sharing 2008
We collected over 1000 items during Souper Bowl season for the hungry in our community. Great job kids!
Remember, hunger doesn't end with football season. Keep bringing in non-perishable items in their original, off-the-shelf packaging. Drop them off in the green bin located in the lower entrance foyer.
