The safety and well-being of your child is our highest priority. We have numerous procedures in place to protect your child and others in our care. We ask that you follow all our guidelines each time you come.

Your Child's Health
We operate a well-baby program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we are unable to accept a child who has had a rash, fever, cold, diarrhea or other obvious signs of illness within the last 24 hours. Thank you for helping keep our program a healthy place for all.
Your Child's Unique Needs
Please let our staff know of any unique needs your child may have. We want your child to have a wonderful experience while they are in our care. Your open communication of his or her needs will help us to best meet them. We value your insights into your child.
Registering and Checking In
The health and safety of your child are vitally important to us. Please help us share God's love with your son or daughter by providing up-to-date medical and emergency information for your child. Being aware of your child's unique needs can help us minister to him or her most effectively. All records will be kept confidential and will only be available to those who work directly with your child. You may print out a Medical Information Card by clicking here, or you may ask your child's teacher for a copy at check-in.
A teacher will meet you at the door to the classroom to receive your child. Please sign in and note any information that will help us in caring for him or her. Note feeding times, sleeping times, allergies and special needs.
We ask that parents of preschool age children not enter the classroom. Leave your child and any labeled belongings with a care giver at the door. You will be given an ID bracelet which you must surrender again when you pick up your child. Your child's teacher will expect the same person to drop off and pick up each child unless special instructions are given at check-in. Please do not send siblings to pick up preschool or younger elementary age children.
What to Bring
When packing a diaper bag for your child, please include the following items:
- Two or three disposable diapers. No cloth diapers please.
- Pacifier or other item you child might need for security.
- A complete change of clothes in case your child would require it.
- A bottle or cup of milk, formula, juice or water.
Please label all personal items with your child's first and last names before arriving at your child's class. This helps us keep track of your child's belongings.
Snacks
Snacks are provided in all preschool age classrooms. We usually serve Cheerios, Goldfish or animal crackers. If your child has an allergy, please inform the leader when you check in. Feel free to provide an alternate snack if you desire.
Saying Good-bye
After you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick good-bye and leave for the worship service. As you know, it is normal for little ones to cry for a short time after a parent leaves. Our leaders will try to help your child quickly adjust to the activities in the classroom. If your child should cry for more than 10 minutes, we will let you know.
Stopping By
Feel free to stop by and check on your child any time. We do ask that you do this without alerting your child to your presence as this may cause them to become anxious.
Pagers
Our nursery is equipped with a pager system available to ALL parents who feel their child may need them during a worship service. Parents may sign out a pager at the nursery and return it at the end of the service. Please note that our vibrating pagers need to be held or worn to be effective.
