Drama COURSE OFFERINGS
DRAMA WORKSHOP ages 7-11: Students will work to develop dramatic tech-
nique through scene preparation, and utilizing theatre games and improvisation.
Students will have informal performances throughout the year and a final perform-
ance at the Arts Festival.
INTERMEDIATE DRAMA WORKSHOP: Open to students ages 7-11 who
completed Drama Workshop with superior Skill Day evaluations, or new students
by audition. Students will continue to develop technique with more intense charac-
ter development, emotional expression, and physical performance. Students will
have informal performances throughout the year and a final performance at the Arts
Festival.
DRAMA WORKSHOP ages 12+: Students will work to develop dramatic tech-
nique through improvisation and dramatic literature, preparing scenes in multiple
theatre styles. Student will be challenged to develop believable characters for
scenes and monologues, working on deeper emotional expression and using physi-
cal movement to enhance characterization. Students will perform in the Spring
Concert and/or at the Arts Festival.
