The primary role of the Family Ministry Council is creating a safe, nurturing environment with concern for the whole person.
The Family Ministry Council will focus on developing a caring community environment and will assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with enrolled families. The Council will seek to identify and meet needs among all FAITH Center families. They will also identify new families and encourage them to feel at home on Tuesdays.
The Family Ministry Council will assist in the day-to-day operation of F.A.I.T.H. Center for the Arts. The council will organize a staff of volunteer parents to ensure and provide for:
- the safety of the children,
- classroom helpers
- the comfort of the parents while they wait,
- communication about FAITH Center programs and events,
- feedback concerning program needs, and
- suggestions for future activities.
Council members will organize child care helpers for bi-monthly Café ministry and Bible Study.
The Family Ministry Council meets the first Tuesday of each month.
