ADVANCED GUITAR
This class is open to students who demonstrate the necessary proficiency requirements and have the recommendation of the guitar teacher. Advanced guitar students have the opportunity to study classical guitar techniques, chord melody techniques, scales and chords up and down the neck of the guitar, and chord inversion. All advanced guitar students must participate in a Skill Day audition where they demonstrate their skill to FAITH Center faculty. Skill Day results are made available to students. Class meets weekly. Each student must provide his or her own instrument. Advanced guitar students must participate in the Christmas Concert , Fine Arts Night, and the Spring Concert and are expected to practice a minimum of 30 minutes per day to prepare for each weekly lesson. Maximum class size is six students. Additional classes will be scheduled based on instructor availability.
