GUITAR 1
This class is open to students who are seven years of age or older in September 2005 with less than one year of guitar experience. Students learn the basics of guitar playing including standard notation and tab notation, guitar maintenance, guitar tuning, and proper use of a pick. Each student must provide his or her own instrument. All guitar students must participate in a Skill Day audition where they demonstrate their skill to FAITH Center faculty. Skill Day results are made available to students. Guitar 1 students must participate in the Spring Concert, and are expected to practice a minimum of 20 minutes per day to prepare for each weekly lesson. Maximum class size for Guitar 1 is six students. Additional classes will be scheduled based on instructor availability.
