VIOLIN 3 / VIOLA
This is open to students who have completed two years of violin and have demonstrated the necessary proficiency requirements. Students receive additional training in bow technique, improving sound quality, and musicianship. The format of this class is an independent study with specific times scheduled with the instructor. In addition to this program, students are encouraged to take a private lesson at least twice monthly. Each student must provide his or her own instrument. All violin students must participate in a Skill Day audition where they demonstrate their skill to FAITH Center faculty. All Violin 3/Viola students must register for the Violin Ensemble. Violin 3/Viola students must participate in the Christmas Concert and the Spring Concert, and are expected to practice a minimum of 45 minutes per day to prepare for each weekly lesson. Maximum class size is eight students.
