VIOLIN / VIOLA ENSEMBLE
This ensemble is open to all students who have played their instrument for at least one full year and have met the proficiency requirements for Violin 2 or 3. Students learn and perform standard ensemble literature. Students develop their overall musicality including: balance, phrasing, style, and independence of parts. Students are required to enroll in Violin 2/3 or Viola and must participate in the Christmas Concert and the Spring Concert. Students are expected to practice and learn their Violin Ensemble music during their regular, daily practice time. Individual string instruction is available and is scheduled according to instructor and student availability. Private lesson fees apply.
