VOCAL WORKSHOP 2
Vocal Workshop 2 is offered to students who have successfully completed the requirements of Vocal Workshop 1 or they may be selected by audition. Using the vocal skills studied in Vocal Workshop 1, each student will learn to apply those skills through participation in staged scenes and theatrical characterizations. Students are expected to practice and memorize their music during their regular daily practice time. Various musical theatre scenes will be cast and performed for the Spring Concert (absenteeism will greatly affect casting decisions). If necessary for the Spring Concert, simple costumes will be the responsibility of the student. Students in Vocal Workshop 2 will be encouraged to perform on Fine Arts Night and are required to participate in both Skill Days. Minimum class size is 6. INDIVIDUAL VOICE instruction is available and is scheduled according to instructor and student availability. Private lesson fees apply.
