PRE SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
In an effort to enhance the experience of pre school age siblings, FAITH Center for the Arts is pleased to continue the Pre School Enrichment Program. This program is open to all siblings of enrolled students, five years-of-age and younger, who are too young to participate in our regular programs. Parents are required to accompany their children to these programs. Pre School Enrichment programs will not be held on Skill Days.
Pre School Craft Time
Pre School Craft Time is offered for twenty-eight weeks beginning October 3, 2006 and ending May 15, 2007, from 12:00-12:30. Children will receive instruction and assistance in making a different craft each week. Class size is limited to 25 students. There is a $24 materials fee for this class.
Pre School Dance class
This Dance Class focuses on creative movement and is offered on Tuesday afternoons from 1:20-1:50. This class for preschool children is a fun introduction to dance in an age-appropriate context. Preschool children will experience the joy of movement and have the opportunity to use their body expressively for God’s glory (Psalm 149:3a) using guided improvisations and exploration of props. Physical coordination will be developed as well as range of motion and rhythmic and spatial awareness. Class size is limited to12 students. There will be no performance for this group. The fee is $35.
Pre School Story Time
Pre School Story Time is offered each Tuesday afternoon. Children will enjoy listening to a variety of stories read by members of our FAITH Center family. There is no fee for participation.
Pre School recreation
Pre School age children may enjoy some recreation time all to themselves. A recreation coordinator will lead the children in playing a variety of age-appropriate games and activities. There is no fee for participation
Pre School video time
Pre School video time will be held twice each Tuesday, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. A variety of videos will be shown throughout the program year. There is no fee for participation.
