We want Fusion’s mission and values to be consistent with that of Bethlehem Church while at the same time produce a unique and relevant experience.We will focus on connecting people with God, connecting with people in the faith community and connecting with people outside of a faith in Christ. In order for each individual to be connected in these three ways, we need to establish practical connections. Three distinct areas of ministry will allow people to connect with God, believers and individuals outside the faith walk.
- Fusion: an occurrence that involves the production of a union; a nuclear reaction in which elements combine to form more massive groups with the simultaneous release of energy.
Our worship gathering “fusion” exists to invite people into a community of people seeking Christ in their lives. It’s a place to welcome newcomers and welcome back those who have returned. It’s the first step toward relational living.
- Element: fundamental, essential, or irreducible component of a composite entity.
Small groups, which we call “elements” are where people meet regularly for Bible study and prayer, and commit to accountability, friendship and support. This is the safe place to open your heart, share your life, and ask the tough questions.
- Catalyst: the prime mover for making a change.
Catalyst is the name of our outreach group. We can even call it "catalyst of fusion". The purpose of this group is to reach out to our local community. Our local community is Morristown, New Jersey and the surrounding areas. We want to take an active and meaningful role in peoples lives throughout this area of New Jersey. We want to care for those in need, help those who are overloaded, and help the community with projects.
