HEARTS AND HANDS
is a support group of Bethlehem Church for moms of children with special needs.
What Motivates This Ministry ?
It is our goal to demonstrate Christ's love and compassion to families within our church community and the world around us who are challenged daily with the care of a special needs child. In this way, we put hands and feet on Bethlehem's vision to become
Just Like Jesus, Loving God and Loving Others.
Objectives for Hearts and Hands
- To create a supportive environment of love, and encouragement
- To pray for each mother, child and family
- To provide resources designed to meet individual needs
- To engage expert speakers on topics of interest to the group
- To provide our church family ministry opportunities to families in crisis
- To extend support and encouragement to families within our surrounding community

2nd Thursday--Cafe Coffee Fellowship
4th Thursday--Support Group Meeting
Special Needs Sunday School Classes
To demonstrate Christ's love and compassion to families within our church and community, we include children with special needs in Bible School Classes with their peers whenever possible. Aids are provided to help with individual needs. We offer alternatives for children who have specific needs which cannot be met within the typical classroom. CAREGIVER SUPPORT
for women caring for aging parents
This group is just getting started and seeks to give a nourishing, Biblical aspect to women who have care of aging parents.
