Bethlehem Church

Our worship is firmly rooted in Biblical practice, expressing the foundations of our Christian faith while giving a voice to the culture and society in which we live.

“He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God.  Many will see what He has done and be astounded.  They will put their trust in the LORD.”
(Psalm 40:3 NLT).

We desire to develop in each believer the attitudes and practice of true worship.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”  (Matthew 22:37)

We clearly teach that worship is not a perfunctory Sunday morning event. It is a state of mind, a state of being with God, in our daily lives. As we worship personally throughout the week, we look forward to gathering for corporate worship on Sunday, where we join with believers around the world and the saints in heaven to proclaim “Worthy is the Lamb!!”  As unbelievers observe our love expressed to God through worship, they will be drawn to the Savior.

Music and drama make up a large part of our expression of worship to God. Recognizing that God endows each person with unique gifts and talents, Bethlehem Church desires to involve every believer in meaningful ministry. We would use this ministry to provide an avenue to develop our God-given talents.  Our goal is that God alone gets the glory in the many areas of ministry.
The Worship and Music Ministry of Bethlehem Church is uniquely involved in several evangelistic outreach events and activities each year. In particular, these include the Christmas and Easter Cantatas, as well as Teen and Children’s programs.  In these opportunities, special emphasis is focused on outreach and inviting, and program emphasis is placed on clear presentation of the Gospel.
