Bethlehem Church

We would disciple men and women, boys and girls (via biblical exposition, modeling, ministry opportunity, and Christian education) to have a contagious love for Jesus Christ and a desire to worship Him daily. The worship leaders only serve to point us to Christ. (Col. 3:16)

We would teach each worshiper that our thoughts and attitudes throughout the week are essential to prepare our minds for times of corporate celebratory worship.

We would provide a surrounding which leads each individual believer to worship. We include a variety of elements which point to God, and encourage in our souls a response to Him: scripture reading, instrumental and vocal music, prayer, systematic Bible exposition and teaching, and dramatic presentations.

"I believe a local church exists to do corporately
what each Christian believer should be doing individually –
and that is to worship God."
– A.W. Tozer

The Worship Team Ministry has embraced 1 Peter:2:9:

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.

The Worship Team is a group of adults - a community of believers - desiring to glorify God through our lives and talents. The group includes vocal and instrumental musicians.

We seek to minister to others both inside and outside of Bethlehem Church and to the local and global communities through music.

We use this ministry to provide an avenue to develop our God-given talents.

The Worship Team helps to lead the congregation in worship through

  • Sunday Morning Worship Services
  • Special Bethlehem Worship Services
  • Outreach Programs in the community
  • Living Worship events

As we worship God in spirit and in truth, the whole congregation makes a conscious sacrifice of our very best to Him – our bodies, our attitudes, all that we possess.  (Romans 12:1, Psalm 51:17, Genesis 22:5)
